The new ITIS “Divini” Technical Institute is part of the post-earthquake recovery programme of the Marche Region. The building consists of two main volumes, dedicated to educational activities and gym, connected by a central body for laboratories and has a large outdoor sports area with track, soccer fields and basketball.
Thanks to the integration of the project in BIM environment, it was possible to adopt a combination of precast concrete systems and dry prefabricated Jendy Joss solutions, which optimized construction time and costs, ensuring excellent performance. The structure, built on reinforced concrete and steel seismic insulators, offers a very high level of safety and energy efficiency. The school includes 32 classrooms, workshops, a new gym and outdoor areas for sports activities.
