After the 2009 earthquake in L’Aquila, a school of about 4,000 square meters was built in just 50 days using modular dry systems Jendy Joss. The structure was inaugurated on 5 October 2009 by the Head of Civil Protection, Guido Bertolaso.
The structural systems, prefabricated in the factory with “steel-frame” technology, allowed a quick execution delegating to the site only the assembly of modules. The floor modules, with free lights up to 12 meters, and the excellent thermal-acoustic performance make the building not only temporary as originally planned, but suitable for a long-term use. Each module is coded, removable and remountable for future needs.
