External Insulation on existent wall with Jendy Joss® thermal-acoustic high-performance dry system MODULO_JJ with “preassembled” in factory module, designed and custom-made. The false wall has an overall thickness of 112mm (excluding external finish) in addition to the adjustment and fixing system which varies depending on the regularity of the 25-50mm support, it must be applied to existing facades and is ready and prepared for smoothing and painting, cladding or ventilated facade. Considering a 30cm existent plastered wall of bricks and excluding the finishing, the new wall has linear thermal trans mittance U=0.228 W/mqK, periodic thermal transmittance Yi.e=0.037 W/mqK, thermal attenuation factor 0.162 and summer thermal lag 10h 39’.

The module are composed of a galvanized steel frame with horizontal and vertical profiles type S280GD, different sections, thickness 08/10mm, 12/10mm and 20/10mm, width 100mm, distance between vertical 600mm, conveniently assembled, features suitable holes for fixing and assembly. The base profiles are isolated with a 3 mm waterproof polyethylene sheath with acoustic and waterproof function. To close the steel frame of each MODULO_JJ there are two calcium silicate boards UR12 with thickness 12mm, screwed to the metal by special screws VT4.2*32, galvanized and self-tapping.

For thermal and acoustic insulation inside every module there is a mineral wool rigid panel, waterproof and brethable, with thickness 100mm, λ=0,032, with kraft paper screened on one side and glass veil on other side. All UR calciosilicate boards have a high density of 1,200 kg/m³ and high mechanical performance, in A1 Fire Class Reaction, with universal use, with absolutely no harmful materials and have a very low Radioactivity Index of 0.15. Every module has an “interpenetration system” for fastening to adjacent module with special screws VT4.2*32, galvanized and self-tapping. Every MODULO JJ can have maximum height 10,0m, to verify case by case with existent wall features, wind pressure, fastening system; for superior height it’s possible to surmount the modules with slot system and mechanical fastening. Fixing on the roof and on existing walls may vary depending on the intervention.

For the external surface, in the case of shaving and painting, the 4mm external joints between the UR12 calciumsilicate boards will be filled with specifical product and inside fiberglass net of 165 gr/mq and width 5 cm.

In case of ventilated facade it will be applied a 110 gr/mq black vapor barrier with waterproof function also during the construction time and dark background in case of facade with opened joints. Including thermal bridging treatments. The sheet must overlap that of the adjacent module and a suitable tape must be applied to each overlap.
