In Marsala, the Paolo Borsellino Hospital has been expanded with a technologically advanced structure dedicated to epidemiological emergencies, which is fundamental for western Sicily. The project, which is divided into several phases, initially involves the completion of an emergency room and changing rooms with 16 beds, then develop into a three-storey building with 106 beds.
The extension uses prefabricated Jendy Joss building systems, which guarantee speed of production and excellent thermal-acoustic performance. Aesthetically, the structure is completed with a ventilated facade in stoneware, supported by steel structures dimensioned to guarantee resistance and wind resistance.
